● ADVANCED WINDOW 6300 SERIES

6300 Double-Hung Window

Both sashes are operable — they move up and down and tilt in for easy cleaning. Night latches allow secure ventilation. Built by Advanced Window Corporation in Chicago.

3¼″ Multi-Chamber Welded Frame

High-density internal wall design with mullion grooves — fully welded joints for superior thermal, structural, and acoustical performance.

Triple Gasket Seal System

Three continuous gaskets seal sash members and frame against each other, dramatically reducing air and water infiltration.

Zinc Die-Cast Cam Locks

Heavy-duty zinc die-cast cam locks and keepers with integrated interlock rail — increasing security and compressing seals tightly.

6300 Series window cross-section

Constant Force Balancer

Smooth, reliable sash operation with a constant force balancer system. Both sashes are fully operable with tilt-in cleaning.

Optimized Insulated Glass

Double or triple insulated glass — double glazed U-value as low as 0.23, triple glazed as low as 0.19. Externally glazed to reduce leakage.

Optional Steel Reinforcement

Galvanized steel reinforcements for sash meeting rails, vertical stiles, and frame-sill — encapsulated with insulating internal chambers.

Full sloped sill for water drainage Night latches for secure ventilation Extruded aluminum half screen with fiberglass mesh Custom sizes available

Glass & Energy Efficiency

The 6300 Series offers optimized insulated glass units with multiple LoE and gas fill options for maximum energy savings.

Multiple Low-E Options

Choose from multiple LoE coatings and gas fill combinations to match your climate zone and orientation.

  • Reflects heat — keeps warmth in winter
  • Reduces solar heat gain in summer

Argon Gas Fill

Dense, inert gas between panes slows heat transfer. Odorless, non-toxic, and maintenance-free.

  • Works best with Low-E glass
  • No visible tint or haze

Double or Triple Pane

Double glazed U-value as low as 0.23. Triple glazed U-value as low as 0.19 — superior insulation and sound reduction.

  • Triple pane ideal for harsh winters
  • Externally glazed to reduce air/water leakage

Warm-Edge Spacer

Reduces conductive heat loss at the glass edge and minimizes condensation.

  • Improves edge temperature in winter
  • Extends insulated glass unit lifespan

Ratings Glossary

U-Factor

Insulation rating (lower = better). 6300 series: as low as 0.19.

SHGC

Solar heat admitted (0–1). Lower helps sunny exposures.

VT

Visible light transmitted (0–1). Higher = brighter interiors.

DP

Structural wind/water resistance. Higher = stronger.

Energy Efficiency Matters

Energy Efficiency

Glass Packages

Double-pane Low-E / Argon standard, optional triple-pane.

Low U-Factor

As low as 0.27 with Low-E/Argon.

Air Infiltration

0.04 cfm/ft² @ 25 mph (excellent performance).

ENERGY STAR Certified

NFRC Certified / ENERGY STAR Rated for all climate zones.

Window Styles

A quick look at common operating styles — and when each one works best.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear, technical answers for homeowners who want to understand vinyl replacement windows.

How long does a typical window replacement take?
For an average home, a trained crew can replace about 10–14 windows in one day, including removal, installation, insulating, sealing and cleanup. Larger or more complex projects may span two days.
Can I replace just one or a few windows?
You can replace any number of windows. Many homeowners start with the worst-performing rooms, then complete the rest later. We'll match style and color so the home stays consistent.
What's the difference between double-pane and triple-pane?
Triple-pane adds a third lite and a second gas space, which typically lowers U-Factor and can reduce noise. It's helpful for traffic-facing rooms or premium efficiency goals. Double-pane is the standard choice for most homes.
What do U-Factor, SHGC and VT actually mean?
U-Factor: overall insulation (lower = better). SHGC: solar heat admitted (0–1); lower helps in sunny exposures. VT: visible light (0–1); higher means brighter interiors.
Are your windows ENERGY STAR® certified?
Yes — we specify packages that meet or exceed current ENERGY STAR® criteria for Illinois and Wisconsin climate zones, with Low-E coatings, argon fill and warm-edge spacers.
Vinyl vs. wood vs. fiberglass — how do they compare?
Vinyl: maintenance-free, excellent value, strong energy performance. Wood: classic aesthetics; requires periodic maintenance. Fiberglass: stiffer frames and paintable; higher cost. We focus on high-quality vinyl for the best performance-to-price.
Will new windows reduce outside noise?
Yes — tighter seals and insulated glass improve sound control. Triple-pane and laminated glass provide additional reduction for busy streets or flight paths.
What colors and finishes are available?
Standard white interior/exterior is most efficient. Many series also offer exterior color options and grids (muntins) to match architectural style.
What kind of warranty do I receive?
You get the manufacturer's product warranty on frames, glass and hardware, plus our local workmanship guarantee on installation. We remain your point of contact for service.
What affects price the most?
Size and quantity, operating style, glass package (Low-E level, double vs. triple), color options, bay/bow assemblies, and any trim work or structural repairs.
